Value of information experiments (Cancelled for now - stay updated by checking the latest news)
London Finance Group has booked the Finance Lab at Handels for two sessions. Visiting professor Michael Kirchler from the Department of Banking and Finance at University of Innsbruck will conduct two experiments on the value of information. They will be carried through in English.
The experiments aim to deepen the knowledge and understanding of the functioning of financial markets. Two computerized market experiments with near-to-reality market designs will be conducted at each session. The experiments will mainly focus on the value of information and center around the question whether more information always leads to higher returns.
(Cancelled for now) The first experiment will take place on the 11th of March 15:15-17:15. Application deadline is the 10th of March.

The experiments are not related so it is possible to attend both or just one of them. The experiments are exclusive to members. If you are not a member you are welcome to apply through the website or in person at the event.

There are 15 seats available for each experiment and they are assigned on a first come, first served basis. So only the first 15 members applying will be confirmed.
