The London Finance Group is proud to announce that it has initiated a cooperation with the Bloomberg Institute.

The Bloomberg Institute hosts the Bloomberg Assessment Test (BAT), a standardized test for college and university students that aids in securing employment in finance.

The BAT is a global, standardized online exam developed in collaboration with financial professionals, recruiters and academics. The BAT is both comprehensive and objective covering a range of subjects including finance, verbal skills, math, global markets, investment banking and other relevant topics. Designed for undergraduates and recent graduates who are interested in a financial job or internship, the BAT tests the skills and knowledge that matter most to employers.

Students' BAT scores are maintained anonymously in the Bloomberg Institute Talent Search, where employers can search through student profiles utilizing a customized search feature. Search categories include university, year of graduation, area of study, country, gender and competency in BAT subjects. Employers can connect with students via the Talent Search regarding financial employment opportunities.

LFG and the Bloomberg Institute will be hosting assessment tests during the spring of 2012. Additionally, Bloomberg will visit LFG to host a Bloomberg terminal training for LFG members.
